Altman's films invariably find new ways of depicting satirical observations
on contemporary society. His American surroundings never failed to
inspire acidic remarks from him, which he embeded though most of his scripts and he was also noted for making his characters talk all at once. He found fame with M*A*S*H and had an uneven carreer since then, but he found recognition from the industry again with The Player and Gosford Park.
